Austin's Electric Vehicle Rebates
As Austin grows, pollution increasingly threatens the city’s air quality. Central Texas Clean Cities and Austin Energy have come up with an incentive plan that can put some money in your wallet when you buy an electric vehicle. These Electric Vehicle Incentives are worth between $100 and $500 to Austin Energy customers who buy qualifying all-electric cars, scooters, motorcycles, and bicycles from approved dealers.
Going electric means:
- Zero emissions for cleaner air
- Reduced dependency on foreign oil
- More money left in your pocket – a full charge costs 50 cents or less for an electric car, and as little as three cents for an electric
