Energy Action is an Austin based professional inspection company dedicated to increasing energy conservation awareness one house at a time. Our primary goal is to make home energy conservation simple and easy to understand for the average homeowner. With every energy audit we combine practical knowledge of energy efficiency and dedication to exceptional customer service. As part of our corporate commitment to the community we give 25% of our annual profits to local charities.
How it Started
Energy Action was founded in 2008 by Justin and Susan Marler as a way of helping the average homeowner save energy, money and the environment. It all started when they purchased a historic house in Central Austin and completely renovated it using sustainable building practices. Energy efficiency was considered every step of the way, and the end result was a super efficient, comfortable and healthy house. During the renovation friends and family followed the process and learned a great deal about home energy conservation. That’s when Justin and Susan got the idea of starting Energy Action, and creating the Energy Action Plan ™.
